SYM Superyacht Management are delighted to announce their appointment as Total Yacht Managers for the newly re-launched Sunseeker 115 Sport Yacht “ZULU” ex LILY II.

Successfully managing the owner’s previous vessel – a Predator 108 – since 2014, SYM are proud to represent the 34.5m superyacht, which has made the journey across the Atlantic from Miami to the Mediterranean.

Overseeing the brokerage purchase of “ZULU” from the start, Ben Young assisted the owners closely throughout the process, from arranging the vessel’s pre-purchase survey, through to completion, shipping and a re-fit upon her arrival in Europe.

SYM quickly placed an experienced team onboard the 115, bringing a captain, crew and dedicated Sunseeker build engineer to the US to explore the possibilities of converting “ZULU” to a European electrical specification. Prior to shipping, an extensive worklist was established to bring her back to operational standards in time for the summer season – a key service for clients purchasing used yachts.

On arrival to the Mediterranean, it was a case of all hands on deck to get “ZULU” ready – the refit team was quickly onboard to carry out the required works and a berth was allocated in front of the SYM office to allow ease of access for subcontractors.

SYM worked closely with the new owners on a number of interior design updates, ensuring all changes were carried out to the highest possible quality.

Ben Young said; “Carrying out an important set of works for the second time for the same clients was seamless – we had a clear understanding of their expectations, and they had full trust in our ability to get things done to their standards.”

“The hardest bit was trying to figure out how to fit all the new toys into the garage!”

Following her successful refit, “ZULU” was fully prepared for the season and made ready for her owners by SYM.

The Sunseeker 115 is expected to have a very busy summer onboard as she cruises the Western Mediterranean, where SYM are looking forward to overseeing her management in the coming seasons.
