We are pleased to confirm the completion of Project 617, making this the 5th Sunseeker 131’ to join the SYM Superyacht Management fleet.
First contracted by the owners back in November 2019, when the yacht was very much still in production, we quickly set about the recruitment of a Captain and build engineer to join the project in Poole.
As with all successful projects of this nature, putting the right team in place for the buyers is of the very highest priority. It requires an extensive network, careful vetting, and a thorough interview process, before presenting to the clients for final approval.
The SYM Crew team were once again able to provide highly experienced personnel, with a fantastic local knowledge of the planned cruising areas, extensive operational experience with this specific model of yacht, and a very detailed understanding of the Sunseeker build process.
Working as a team, we assembled the remaining crew members, set up for guest useage, populated the spare parts inventory, and handled crew training. Furthermore, we acted on the owner's behalf to assist with the their personal supply items and worked closely with their team on all insurance and shipping related matters.
Despite the many challenges that Covid 19 presented, Project 617 was loaded 2 weeks ahead of the original schedule, and is now being transported to her new base of operations.
We look forward to maintaining continued support to the Captain and the owner's team of this stunning tri-deck as she moves into the all-important operational phase.
